I am so proud of my son Collin. After a night off the Appalachian Trail in Franklin, North Carolina, Collin has made it to Wayah Gap in North Carolina, 115.7 miles into the Appalachian Trail with 2073.5 miles to go until the completion here in Maine. It's a good thing he stopped and purchased a waterproof rain coat, as the weather tomorrow calls for a 40 percent chance of showers with highs around 65.

He has seen some fantastic sites in North Carolina, and wanted to share some of them with you!
