Here’s the latest MDI Football Coach’s Show with Head Coach Mark Shields. In this Monday’s show, Coach Shields reflects on the MDI Trojan’s loss to Hampden Friday night by the score of 58-14, a game played in extremely cold conditions. The good news for the Trojans is that they’re tied with Belfast for 7th place in the Crabtree Standings, with the top 8 teams making the playoffs. In the Show, Coach Shields mentions how the theme of the week is “The Playoffs Start Now!” With a win against Old Town on Friday night, the Trojans will play in the post-season, lose, and their season will end. Coach Shields gives us a scouting report on the Old Town Coyotes.
Friday night’s game is the last home game for the Trojans this season. Kick-off is at 7 PM and the game will be broadcast beginning at 6:40 with the Coach’s Show on AM 1370 WDEA.
