Remembering Coach Wink [VIDEO]

Legendary college baseball coach John Winkin has passed away at the age of 94. Winkin coached at Colby College, UMaine and Husson in a career that lasted from 1954 to 2006. He won over 1,000 games and took teams to six College World Series.

Winkin's belongs to many halls of fame including the College Baseball Hall of Fame, the Maine Sports Hall of Fame and the UMaine and Husson Halls of Fame.

Winkin suffered a stroke while running in Bangor back in 2007 and has spent most of his time since then recovering in healthcare facilities in the Waterville area.

In 2011, Colby College retired his #5, one of his last few public appearences...
