Matt Clark, has been chosen as the new Assistant Principal at Ellsworth High School and will start later this month. Clark, who has been principal at Calais High School for the last two years, will finish up in Calais on August 14th. He now joins Dan Clifford, Principal, and Josh Frost, Athletic Director, as new administrators at Ellsworth High School for the 2015 school year. Clark is no stranger to Ellsworth High School, as he was the Ellsworth Girl's Varsity Basketball Coach from 1995-1998.

Clark finished his undergraduate work in special education at the University of Maine and received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Concordia University. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal at Calais High School for 7 years, (2006-2013), Clark was a special education teacher at Old Town, Mount View and Penobscot Valley High School. He is a member of the Maine Principal's Association, National Association of Secondary Schools Prinicipals and sits on the MPA Eastern Maine Basketball Committee.
