Chris Sale Makes His 1st Spring Training Start Today March 9th

Red Sox ace Chris Sale makes his 1st Spring Training start today, Friday, March 9th as the Boston Red Sox take on the Miami Marlins today at 1 PM in a game you can hear on AM 1370 WDEA.

The Red Sox are also scheduled to send Brandon Workman, Roenis Elias, and Bobby Poyner to the mound.

Yesterday, March 8th, the Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays played to a 6-6 tie. JD Martinex went 3-3 with a RBI double and Xander Bogaerts was 2-3 and Jackie Bradley Jr. was 1-2, with Bogaerts and Bradley Jr. each having a RBI and double.

Brian Johnson allowed 3 runs in the first inning, but then settled down and retired 8 of his final 9 batters.

The Red Sox play Minnesota on Saturday and Baltimore on Sunday with both games starting at 1PM and both on WDEA AM 1370.
