Checking In With Abby Jewett

Abby Jewett is just competing her Junior Year at the University of Maine Presque isle (UMPI). The graduate of Mount Desert Island High School was recently awarded the MVP for the 2015-16 Volleyball Team and also the AD3I All-Independent Second Team Award.

She is studying to be a physical education teacher, and hopes to do part of her student teaching in Hancock County.

She became engaged over the winter, on December 19, 2015 to Casey Dorrity who recently graduated from UMPI. They have set August 12, 2017 as the wedding date!
