After 12 days on the lam, Charlie Brown has returned home! He's a lot thinner, but he's one tough dog, surviving in this weather for 12 days. He was found in the Hulls Cove Beach area.

Here's Taylor Stewart's post

Charlie Brown is home and promises no more excursions. We are all incredibly grateful for everyone that helped search for him and spread the word about his situation. We are so thankful that Lori Bartlett reported the last two sightings all the way back out in Hulls Cove to us and are so lucky that she did - otherwise we'd still be searching around town.
Lori was so on top of everything, she was able to get a hold of me while another wonderful woman, April, actually had a visual on Charlie. I was able to call my mom, Vangi Stewart, and she was there within minutes working on coaxing Charlie in. April, bless her soul, not only stayed and kept a visual on Charlie so my mom could get there, but stayed and helped bring him home.

Fortunately, my mom knew exactly what to do to bring Charlie in thanks to the video on calming signals provided by the wonderful resource, Maine Lost Dog Recovery.
April's quick thinking and willingness to stay and help my mom bring in Charlie is something we'll never forget and we're forever grateful to you. We would have never had gotten him today had it not been for you. Thank you so very much.

We are also very thankful for the help and advice from Diana de los Santos, Kathy Winslow, and Martie Crone - it was instrumental in bringing Charlie home.
Last but not least, thank you to the whole community and specifically the Bar Harbor Barter & Swap and MDI Lost/Found Pet Alert platforms. Really lucky to be part of such a great community.
