On my way down to Bar Harbor at 4:45 this morning I had an extra large Pumpkin Spice coffee. It was my first chain Pumpkin Spice of the year. Truth be told, I have started receiving Pumpkin Spice for my Keurig earlier this month.

I guess that I live a rather sheltered life, as I was amazed to hear about the controversy over the Thin Blue Line Flag, and how some people are saying that flying it is racist. I was always under the impression that flying the thin blue line flag demonstrated your support of the police. The world sure has changed! When I was in High School we had emergency dimes, so we could contact my parents in the event of an emergency via payphone. Nowadays, there aren't any payphones, but just about every high schooler has a smart phone in his/her pocket.

It is extremely tough to be an a basketball opponent 3 times, but that's what MDI Trojans Boys Basketball Team will try to do when they play the Ellsworth Eagles on Friday afternoon, February 15th in the 1st game of Tourney 2019 from the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
