Sitting at home, I opened up my browser and went to Barharborcam.com to see what I would see on Monday, July 3rd, the night before the 4th. As I flicked around all I could imagine was that the photos looked like paintings.
Sitting at home recovering from knee surgery I wanted to see what the weather was like on Mount Desert Island. Plus, given the fact that I read the weather on AM 1370 WDEA and the WDEA Weather Phone sponsored by Bowden Marine Service, I like to make sure I'm somewhat accurate! I switched to the tower cams by Bar Harbor Cams and thought the scenes in Bar Harbor resembled a Stephen King movie! Holy fog!
Sometimes after a hard day, you just need to revel in the beauty of a sunset. I would have loved to have driven down to Bar Harbor on Wednesday night, but work demands wouldn't allow it. But, thanks to barhaborcam.com I was able to experience the beautiful sunset from home.
It's a beautiful morning on Tuesday, June 27th. Thanks to barharborcam.com I was able to capture photos from the Bar Harbor Inn Tower Cam overlooking Frenchman Bay, looking at Agamont Park and up Main Street from the Oli's Trolley Tower Cam and Bass Harbor from the Anna's Point Tower Cam...
I was sitting in Bangor Saturday morning, as it was pouring, and wondering what the weather was like in the Bar Harbor area. Thanks to barharborcam.com I was able to find out. This was the view from the Bass Harbor camera at Ann's Point Inn at 8:55 AM.
Let's face it, we all are not lucky enough or wealthy enough to be sitting oceanside facing Frenchman Bay, sitting at the Bar Harbor Inn. But now, through your computer, Ipad or smartphone, you can be anywhere and enjoy that magical view!
