All Festival Casts

One Act Plays were held throughout the State this past weekend, March 10-11 in 9 different sites. Festivals were held at MDI High School, Camden Regional High School, Oceanside, Lawrence, Morse, Skowhegan, Stearns, Oxford Hills and Bonny Eagle High Schools. Winners advanced to the State Festival in Yarmouth on March 24th and 25th. Congratulations to all who competed.

MDI Wins Drama Festival Regional

Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of MDI High School's "The Insanity of Mary Girard" which won the Class B One Act Play at the Regional Drama Festival held at MDI High School March 10th and 11th. They totaled 299 out of a possible score of 300.

The MDI and Ellsworth Unified Basketball Teams battled at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor on Monday, March 6th with the Ellsworth Eagles coming away with a 42-39 victory. The Gym was packed with fans with lots of applause, cheering and even a few tears as the crowd cheered on both teams.
