The Maine Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Air Quality Alert for Sunday, June 26th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for Coastal Hancock County
Masks are optional for anyone attending Sunday's MDI High School Graduation and all MDIRSS schools will return to optional masking on Monday, June 6th, and remain in place for the rest of the school year.
Students, staff, faculty and visitors to MDI Regional Schools will continue to need to wear masks through Friday, June 3rd, as Hancock County continues to remain at a High level for community transmission of COVID.
Memorial Day 2022 was celebrated in Northeast Harbor on May 30th with a parade, solemn ceremony in front of the Memorial down by the Harbor and a Community Cookout put on by the Neighborhood House! Check out the photos
Hancock County continues to be listed as High for Community Transmission of COVID, as of Thursday night, May 19th. As a result, masks will continue to need to be worn in all of the MDI Regional School System Schools and in all Bar Harbor Town facilities through at least May 27th.
AOS 91 Superintendent Mike Zboray sent out the following email to the MDIRSS Community on Sunday morning, May 15th informing everyone about the need for continued masking in MDIRSS Schools May 16-20.
Masks will be required for anyone inside any MDI Regional School Monday May 9th through Friday May 13th because of the fact that Hancock County has been designated as "High" Level of Community Transmission
