The MDI Girls Soccer Team beat Ellsworth 2-1 on Senior Recognition Night in Bar Harbor on Tuesday, October 17th in the final regular game of the season. Daisy Granholm scored both of MDI's goals while Sierra Andrews scored for the Eagles.

MDI High School will be bringing the noise and the funk to the Jazz All State Festival which will be held at South Portland High School January 11th-13th with a concert on the 13th. The MDI Music Department will be the most represented school again at the Festival!

MDI Coach’s Show October 16 [VIDEO]

The MDI Trojans defeated Leavitt Friday night October 13th to move to 6-1. Coach Mark Shields joined WDEA's Chris Popper to talk about the game. The Ellsworth Boys Cross Country Team finished 3rd and the MDI Boys Team finished 4th in the PVC Cross Country Championship Meet held Saturday, October 14th at Orono High School. Hermon finished 1st, Caribou 2nd, Ellsworth 3rd, MDI 4th, Presque Isle 5th, John Bapst 6th, Old Town 7th, Washington Academy 8th and Foxcroft Academy 9th.
