The Brewer Baseball Team played their 1st home baseball game at Heddericg Field in Brewer since the Spring of 2022, hosting Bucksport on Tuesday, April 9th. The game ended in a 4-4 tie.

The Boston Red Sox fell to the Baltimore Orioles 7-1 in the Fenway opener on Tuesday, April 9th. They also found out that Trevor Story will be lost for the season with shoulder surgery, and Nick Pivetta was placed on the 15-Day Injured List retroactive to April 6th, with a right elbow flexor strain.
