There's nothing like the 4th of July in Bar Harbor! There's a huge parade, that lasts about a hour, blueberry pancake breakfast, seafood festival, lobster races, craft fair, live music and of course one of the biggest firework displays in the area!

Bicycle Auction in Bar Harbor – June 9th
On Saturday June 9th at 11AM The Bar Harbor, Mount Desert and Southwest Harbor Police Departments will be offering for sale, all bicycles turned to the respective Police Departments as "Found Property" and which have been in possession of the Police Departments for more than 6 months.
Park Loop Road Opens April 15
Starting this Sunday, April 15th the National Park Service will reopen the Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park. The Hulls Cove Visitor Center and Thompson Island Picnic Area will also open on April 15th.
