The Maine Maritime Academy Women's Lacrosse Team suffered their 1st lost of the season, losing to the Castleton Spartans 18-4 in Castine on Saturday afternoon. Former MDI Trojan Shelby O'Neil had a goal.
Walls Pitches Gem Husson Splits Doubleheader
Former MDI Trojan Ben Walls pitched a complete 7 inning game, facing just 24 batters as the Husson Eagles defeated the Norwich Cadets 3-1 in the opening game of the doubleheader at Husson on Saturday, March 25th. Husson lost the 2nd game 7-3.
O’Neil NAC Rookie of the Week
After scoring 5 goals and assisting on another, in just her 2nd collegiate lacrosse game, former MDI Trojan Shelby O'Neil was named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week  on Monday, March 20th in voting by the Women's Lacrosse Coaches.

In only her 2nd collegiate lacrosse game, former MDI Trojan Shelby O'Neil, now a junior at Maine Maritime Academy scored 5 goals, and assisted on another, as the Lady Mariners rolled over Lyndon State 20-7 in Castine on Saturday afternoon, March 18th.
Cleaves Playing for USM
Former MDI Trojan Julianna Cleaves is playing for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' Softball Team and also played on the Basketball Team this past winter!
O’Neil Shines in Lax Debut
Talk about a fine debut! Former MDI Trojan Shelby O'Neil played in her first collegiate lacrosse game on Friday, March 10th as the Maine Maritime Mariners beat SUNY Maritime in their home and season opener 13-2 in Castine.
Bean at Husson Softball
The Husson University Softball Team continues their Florida trip through Saturday, March 11th. They have 4 games remaining on Friday and Saturday. To date, they are 6-4. Former Ellsworth Eagle Caitlin Bean has appeared in 6 of those 10 games.
Walls Wins 1st For Husson
Former MDI Trojan Ben Walls, now a senior at Husson University, pitched the Eagles to a 3-2 victory in their 1st game of the season, down in Florida on Sunday, March 5th. The Eagles split a doubleheader with Marymount, losing the second game 10-2.
