Husson University improved to 8-0 in Conference play, and 10-7 overall with a doubleheader sweep over St. Joseph's College on Tuesday, March 31st.

In Game 1, Husson won 4-3 in 7 innings. Former MDI hurler Dennis O'Neil pitched a complete game for the victory. He allowed 3 runs, all earned, struck out 1 and didn't walk anyone. Former Ellsworth Eagle Jordan Carter was 1-3 with 2 RBI's.

In Game 2, Husson won 8-7 in 11 innings. Carter had the game winning RBI with a sacrifice fly, and went 1-5. Former MDI pitcher Steven Hanscom pitched 1 inning of scoreless relief, striking out 1 and allowing 0 hits or walks.

Husson is back in action on Thursday April 2nd, in a doubleheader against UMaine Farmington at the Winkin Complex at Husson.
