Card Tapley and Shaw Selected to Play in McDonald’s All Star Game

Congratulations to Ellsworth's Madison Card and MDI's Sierra Tapley and Kelsey Shaw who were selected to play in the Maine McDonald's High School Senior All-Star Basketball Game on Saturday, March 12th at Newman Gymnasium at Husson University.

Card, Tapley and Shaw were selected by the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches. In a press release, Rich Hogan, who owns the Ellsworth McDonald's amongst others said "Since 1988 the local Owner/Operators of Maine's McDonald's restaurants have been committed to recognizing student athletes across the state with this hallmark sporting event. We salute the Maine McDonald's All-Star Team players for their dedication to academic and athletic excellence, sportsmanship and team spirit."

Joining Card, Shaw and Tapley on the AA/A/B Girl's North Team are Emily Jacques (Edward Little) Katie Condon (Houlton), Natalie Hill (Houlton), Nia Irving (Lawrence), Dominique Lewis (Lawrence), Caitlin Kane (Mt. .Blue), Tianna Sugars (Oxford Hills), Taylor Williams (Presque Isle) and Sadie Nelson (Windham)
