Card a UMaine Augusta Moose

Now that the fall sport's season is almost over, except for playoffs, the winter collegiate sport's season has begun, with most teams having begun practices, and some already competing. I want to continue our practice of spotlighting former Ellsworth and MDI students who are now competing in college

Last winter, Morgan Card, who graduated from Ellsworth High School was playing for the Eastern Maine Community College Golden Eagles. But, after the 2014-15 season, EMCC made the decision to suspend it's basketball program, and Card transferred to UMaine Augusta.

As a Lady Moose, Card will be one of seven on the UMaine Augusta roster. UMaine Augusta is coming off their third straight appearance in the Yankee Small College Conference Final Four and their first ever trip to the  United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament.

The University of Maine Augusta  Moose open their season on Friday, October 23 at Central Maine Community College with the annual CANAM Tournament. To see the full season schedule for the Lady Moose click HERE
