Cap’n Nemos – How to Help Updated

The place and time of the Silent Auction/Chinese Auction has officially been set up. It will take place Saturday, December 21st from 9:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. at the Tremont Town Office.

The offers have come pouring in today, ever since the terrible fire at Cap'n Nemos in Bass Harbor last night. As we know, the Cousins escaped the fire safely, but lost everything, and there was no fire insurance. There's something special about living on an Island. The Island takes care of it's own, in times of trouble, and in times of joy, and this is the perfect example.

Ways To Help

There are two funds set up right for cash donations.

Any branch of the First will accept your donations. The account name is "We Love Cap'n Nemos". You can also mail a check to The First, PO Box 86 Southwest Harbor, Maine 04679

In Addition a BYOB potluck fundraiser, with raffle is in the works, tentatively on Dec 21 at the Common Good in Manset.

Donations of clothes, household stuff, cash and food can be dropped off at The Southwest Harbor Public Library, Mad Hatter or Queen Anne's Flower shop in Bar Harbor, and the Ale House in Ellsworth.

Jasper: 32x33 pants Size 10 shoes Lg Jackets w longer arms M tshirts

Bob 36x 34 pants Size 10 shoe Xl shirts Long arms for jackets

Judy Shoe 8 29-30 waist M shirts

Nobody really has winter boots, or winter clothes. Jasper needs clothing and outerwear/boots for fishing.
