Bowdoin Women Hosting NCAA Regional
The Bowdoin Women's Basketball Team will be hosting a NCAA Regional match-up this weekend. Megan Phelps, from Southwest Harbor and one of the tri-captains, leads the Polar Bears as they play Castleton State Friday night March 7th at 7 PM. The other game will feature Plattsburgh State against Roger Williams College. The winner of the Bowdoin - Castleton State game will play the winner of the Plattsburgh State - Roger Williams game on Saturday night, March 8th at 7 PM.
Second-round winners will advance to one of four sectional sites March 14-15. Winners of the four sectional sites will advance to the national semifinals March 21-22. All games, except the finals, will be played on the campuses of competing institutions. The finals will be conducted at Quandt Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
