A body found over the weekend has been identified as a missing Bangor man. The body was spotted in the Penobscot river Sunday morning by a resident of Stockton Springs.

The medical examiner's office has identified the man as Cecil Worster, 46 of Bangor. Worster was reported missing in November of last year after walking away from his home on the Hampden town line. Police said at the time that family members felt it was unlike Worster to just disappear without contacting anyone.

There's no indication, at this time, that foul play was involved in Worster's death.
