Oh, that Red Sox starting pitching. Clay Buchholz looked ok for five innings and then the wheels came off...in a hurry. Baltimore beat Boston again, 9-5.

With a 4-2 in that sixth inning, Buchholz allowed for first four batters to reach, including a 2-run homer from Mark Trumbo and the O's had the lead for good. J.J. Hardy hit two homers for the Birds.

The Sox bullpen didn't help much, allowing four more runs.

Boston falls below .500 at 3-4. Baltimore is a perfect 7-0.

On the positive side for the Sox, on David Ortiz 500-neclace giveaway night, Big Papi hit a home run (below)...

The Red Sox conclude their series with the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night, with the pregame starting at 6:25 PM and the 1st pitch on AM 1370 WDEA. Joe Kelly is scheduled to take the mound for the Red Sox.
