Best Accomplice Ever

Got to at least give this burglar props for ingenuity. In Crossville, Tennessee, a 54-year-old man says his home was burgled - while the burglar's girlfriend distracted him by swimming naked in his swimming pool! The victim told police the couple stopped by to say hello and after talking a while, the woman sent her husband home to fetch her cigarettes. She then asked him if she could take a dip in his pool. After he led her to his backyard pool, she asked if he minded if she swam naked. Of course Mr. Gullible said, "Sure!" so she stripped off, jumped in the pool and swam for about 20 minutes. The homeowner sat poolside while she was swimming, handing her a towel to dry off when she finished. It was only after she dressed and left that the homeowner re-entered his home to find a handgun, jewelry and medication, together worth about $1,200 had been stolen.
