Class B Girl's Soccer teams knew what an offensive weapon Emily Berry was when she threw the ball in for Ellsworth High School via the flip-throw. Now teams facing Husson University are finding out first hand what a potent weapon the flip-throw is.

Berry notched her first collegiate assist when teammate Taylor Fortin headed in Berry's flip-throw in the 60th minute. Former Ellsworth Eagle Katie Cyr also notched an assist when she passed the ball to teammate Alison Boulier who chipped the ball into the net.

The 2-1 win by Husson University over the University of New England marked the first time since 1992 that the Eagles beat the Nor'easters!  Husson is now 2-0-1 on the season.
