The Bar Harbor Cruise Season tipped off on Monday, May 5th, with the arrival of the ms Veendam. The Veendam, a Holland American Cruise Ship departed Boston, Massachusetts and was traveling to ports in Bar Harbor, Maine, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sydney, Canada, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and Quebec City, Quebec. The ms Veendam  will be offering 7 day and 14 day cruises, embarking from Quebec City with the 14 day cruise reversing direction after reaching Boston, and following the same route back to Quebec City.  The ms Veendam is scheduled to call on Bar Harbor 18 times during the 2014 Cruise Season.

The 2014 Cruise Season runs May 5th through November 1st. There are 138 ships scheduled to arrive in Bar Harbor. 8 ships are scheduled to make their maiden voyage to Bar Harbor. They are
