Bangor Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in a stolen vehicle case. A Walmart receipt in the stolen van led police to the above surveillance picture.

On March 19th, police were called to Season's on Main Street to the report of a suspicious vehicle that was partially blocking the restaurant's entrance. Officer Joe Baillargeon ran the plates on the Windstar van and learned that it had been just been reported stolen from Brunswick.

He found a receipt in the van from Walmart on Stillwater Avenue. Store security was able to match up the purchased items with the picture above.

Officer Baillargeon calls the man a 'person of interest' and is asking for the public's help in identifying him. Anyone with any information is asked to call 947-7384, extension 5766. If you wish to remain anonymous, just press 6 for the anonymous tip line.
