The operations team is continuing to monitor the storm closely and will adjust crew assignments accordingly. About 1800 Maine Public Service customers in the Ashland area were affected by outages this afternoon for about two hours, but all service in that area has been restored.

Customers are reminded to avoid coming in contact with fallen power lines and trees near or touching them. Generators and alternate heat sources should be used in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
