Bagley Wins Elks State Soccer Shootout

What is it with the Bagley kids and shootouts? We all know about Kaylee Bagley and her prowess in basketball shootouts, but now here comes her brother Jacob! Jacob just won the Elks State of Maine Soccer Shootout and will represent the State of Maine in the Regional Championships!

The Elks estimate that there are 300,000 participants nationwide. Currently there are 4 levels of competition - local, district, state and regional. Next year they plan on bringing back the national level.

Jacob Bagley competed in the U12 division and won the local, (held September 22nd in Ellsworth), district  (held September 30th in Bangor) and now the state competition, held October 14th in Waterville. He is now headed to the regionals in Colonie, New York, November 2nd-3rd to compete in the next and final level!

Jacob is the son of Shawn and Christine Bagley of Hancock
