Art or Not? [POLL]

Art is in the eye of the beholder. I understand that, and I'll also confess that I'm not the most artistic person in the world. But when I heard that the City of Bangor had contributed $1000 to Anna Hepler for the sculpture that will be anchored in Kenduskeag Stream in downtown Bangor I just started to shake my head.

I saw the sculpture, and I'm afraid to admit what the first thing that came to my mind was that this was a sculpture of female genitalia, and what the heck was the City doing contributing money to this!
