Anthem of Seas Makes Maiden Voyage to Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor welcomed the Anthem of the Seas on Monday, August 29th, which made it's maiden voyage to Bar Harbor. It traveled up from Portland where it docked on August 28th. There were nearly 5000 passengers on board.

According to the Portland Press Herald the Anthem of the Seas holds up to 4,905 passengers and features 18 decks, of which 16 are accessible to passengers. It has 2,090 staterooms, a bumper car facility, a 30-foot rock climbing wall, simulated sky diving and an observation capsule that carries passengers 300 feet over the ocean.

The Anthem of the Seas will return to Bar Harbor on Monday, September 12th, Monday September 26th and Monday, October 10th.
