Wow! What are the chances? Just last week on August 14th, we published the story of a blue lobster being landed by Abe Philbrook. Well, now 4 days later, we have another blue lobster being landed, this time by David Minctons on the FV Shag Eyed Shark out of Southwest Harbor.

As we told you before the blue lobster is a result of a genetic defect that causes the lobster to produce more of a certain protein than normal. Blue lobsters occur about one in every two million lobsters.
