All Aboard Oli’s Trolley
If you're looking to explore Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island or Bar Harbor there's no better way to do it than climbing aboard Oli's Trolley for a fully narrated tour. My wife and I did the Cadillac Mountain Tour last year, and it was great! I totally recommend it and I am planning on going on the the others this summer! Tours depart daily at 10 and 11 a.m. as well as 1 and 2 p.m. May through October. Join Oli's Trolley for a journey past Bar Harbor's beautiful homes, famous names and breathtaking landscape. Their fully narrated two and a half hour "off the beaten path" tour is a trip through part of Acadia National Park and the villages of Otter Creek, Seal Harbor and Northeast Harbor established in 1789 as the town of Mount Desert. You will travel by the world famous Jackson Laboratory and through the scenic landscape entering the Village Otter Creek. As you enter the rugged coastal Village of Seal Harbor, you will start to see summer cottages and yachts playing the waters of the Western Way, long part of the seafaring history. Along the way to Northeast Harbor, you will be shown a stunning natural cobble beach damming the fresh water Little Long Pong with a background of scenic Penobscot Mountain cliffs. This delightful vista, the playground of John D. Rockefeller Jr., became his laboratory and template for the nation's future Acadia National Park. As the trolley approaches the Village of Northeast Harbor cottages dotting the gardened landscape and yachts moored in the harbor harken back to another era. You will visit the marina for a closer inspection of a kaleidoscope of working and pleasure lobster boats, sailing and motor yachts and smell the salty tang in the clean coastal air. Your next stop in the Village of Northeast Harbor offers a chance to browse in some of the most charming and exclusive shops on the coastal island and the opportunity to watch the summer community while away their carefree days. You will return to Bar Harbor, by the original Park entrance gates and through the island interior offers breathtaking views of the mountain terrain.

Explore scenic Bar Harbor, from the stunning terrain and diverse wildlife to the mansions of a bygone era! This one hour fully narrated tour journeys through the area's rich history and its some of its most notable landmarks, including breathtaking views of Acadia National Park
