Acadians Lose to Rhode Island

The Acadian Senior League Baseball team lost to Cranston, Rhode Island Friday afternoon in their opening game of the US East Senior Little League Tournament in New Jersey by the score of 20-0.

It was 3-0 Rhode Island at the top of the 3rd, but things quickly turned sour for the Maine team. The Acadians will now play Saturday morning at 11:30 against Bristol, Connecticut. Bristol lost 6-4 to Maryland on Thursday. The loser of this game will be eliminated. The winner will play Sunday, July 26th at 11:30 AM.

The US East Winner will play in Bangor at Mansfield Stadium in the Senior League World Series starting August 2nd
