The Maine Senior League Champions... the Acadians have left the Island Thursday morning and are headed to New Jersey, to play in the US East Senior League Regional Tournament, with a berth at the Senior League World Series in Bangor at stake!

Competing in New Jersey are teams from Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and two teams from New Jersey. There are two teams from New Jersey, as the host district is able to enter a team.

The Acadians will play the team from Cranston Rhode Island Friday July 24th at 2 PM. Should they win, they would play Saturday night, July 25th at 7:30 PM. If they lose against Cranston, then they play on Saturday morning, July 25th at 11:30 AM. The tournament format is double elimination.
