The Board of Directors of the Acadian Football League, Acadian Basketball Association, and Acadian Little League recently held a strategic planning session, and decided to combine all 3, into the new Acadian Youth Sports organization. In addition, they have voted to hire a new Executive Director, Kyle McKim, who will be graduating from the University of New Hampshire in May.

Acadian Youth Sports, will continue to offer Football for grades 3-8th (Acadian Football League),  Baseball and Softball for ages 6-16, from Tee-Ball to Senior League (Acadian Little League), and Basketball for grades 7-8th (Acadian Basketball Association).  In addition, they are going to be offering golf,in partnership with Kebo Valley Country Club and its Pro – Peiter Devos. Acadian Youth Sports will continue to served the communities of Mount Desert Island, Trenton and Lamoine
