Acadian Juniors Win Again 11-1

The Acadian Junior All-Star Team beat Calais 11-1 on Tuesday evening, July 19th at Mount Desert Elementary School to advance out of the loser's bracket and play Coastal out of Bucksport in the Championship Round on Wednesday, July 20th. The Acadians will have to beat Coastal twice to win the Division 1 Championship.

Tuesday evening's game was a mercy-rule shortened game, lasting just 5 innings. The Acadians batted around in the 2nd inning, scoring 5 runs and never looked back. They added 2 runs in the 3rd and then 4 in the 5th inning.

The Acadians banged out 8 hits, 6 singles and doubles by Brett Duley and Nick Corson

The Junior Acadians roster includes Brett Duley, Logan Beckwith, Sam Mitchell, Nick Corson, Erik Merchant, Ethan Merchant, Grady Wellman-Webster, Oliver Blank, Jack DaCorte, Porter Isaacs, Colyn Rich, Nate Philbrook and Brady Renault.
