Abel’s Lobster Pound Closed For 2017?

For at least 67 years, Abel's Lobster Pound on Abel's Lane in Mount Desert has been open serving lobster, seafood and steak. But, it appears that they won't be open for the summer of 2017.

Their Facebook Page indicates that they are permanently closed, and their website gives an Error 404 page not found. Their listing on YELP! also indicates that they are permanently closed.

I only ate there once, last year when going down to the Asticou Gardens Lantern Stroll in Northeast Harbor and had an enjoyable meal. It's always sad to lose a long standing restaurant.
