A-Rod, Yanks With Another Win [VIDEO]

Another crushing loss for the Red Sox, a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Yankees. Make it back-to-back crushing losses for the Sox.

After Eduardo Rodriguez pitched seven innings of one-run, three-hit ball, reliever Brad Ziegler came in a gave up three runs in the 8th inning.

Add in the enemic Sox offense and it spells another loss. Sox hitters were 1-for-9 with Runners In Scoring Position (after 2-for-11 the night before). The Sox haven't hit a home run in five games - that hasn't happened since 2014.

Two key plays in that comeback 8th inning for the Yanks - collision at first base on a infield hit by Gary Sanchez with Hanley Ramirez. And, Andrew Benintendi apparently lost the ball in the lights on a line drive to left field by Jacoby Ellsbury.

The Sox fall to 61-52.
