A Generous Island

The Island Community is amazing! During the busiest part of the season, when I wrote about a Make-A-Wish Family of 4 coming to Maine so that the 16 year old boy could come to Maine to see a whale, the Island Community responded and how!

Bethany Reece, the General Manager at the Acadia Inn where the family is staying, arriving today, Saturday, July 29th and departing Thursday August 3rd sent me this photo this morning of the gifts, and gift certificates that the family will receive upon their arrival. Your willingness to make this family's Make-A-Wish trip memorable has touched my heart, and I'm sure the family will be overwhelmed upon their arrival.
