Thanks to the idea concocted by the Island Pathways students along with their teacher Kate Meyer and the generosity of the students and staff and some Island residents, $630.50 has been collected for the Hancock County Food Drive.

Ian Braun, the Dean of Students has agreed to be suspended off the floor and taped to the wall in the Cafeteria of MDI High School, tomorrow, March 31st. For every dollar that has been collected, one foot of duct tape will be used. With the $630.50 collected, that means there will be 210 yards of duct tape, which is up and back the length of the football field!

The taping starts at 10:55 and will last during all 3 lunch periods. I'll be down at the High School to video this. We'll have live video as well as photos and video up here on the website Friday night!

Great job by all and thanks Ian for being such a willing victim!
