4878 Emera Maine customers are still without power after the March 13-14th Blizzard as of 9 PM on Wednesday, March 14th. 20 inches of snow fell in Bangor, and totals  are equally impressive Downeast, but the heavy wet snow weighed down trees and limbs causing the power outages.

Emera Maine expects to have the majority of remaining customers restored by end of day Thursday March 15th. Exceptions may occur in cases where roads have not yet been cleared or where customers may need to make repairs to their equipment before power can be restored safely.

As of 9PM there were 1324 customers without power in Hancock County and 1786 customers without power in Washington County.

Customers who use generators or alternate heating sources are reminded to ensure they are used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines at all times.
Customers may report outages via Emera Maine's website or by calling the Customer Contact Center at (207) 973-2000 or 1-855-EMERA11 (1-855-363-7211).
