Restoration Details:Bangor Hydro crews were joined by crews from Maine Public service today, as well as tree trimming and pole-setting crews to restore power to customers affected by Friday night's thunderstorm. Significant damage was seen in Penobscot County, including fallen power lines and broken tree limbs and utility poles. Extreme heat today has made working conditions challenging for the crews, but work has continued. Another storm is looming, and could cause additional outages tonight.

Customers are reminded that fallen power lines could still be energized and it's never safe to attempt to move them or trees touching them.
