It's funny, we always seem to get a big wind and rain storm right before election day, and this was it, A great job by the Bangor Hydro Electric line crew to restore power to all those without. As of 4 AM there were just a relatively few who were still without power.

Restoration Details:Bangor Hydro crews worked through the night to restore power to as many customers as possible after Friday's strong winds and rain. More than 4,000 customers were without power at the peak of the storm. Outages were widespread across Hancock, Washington, Penobscot and a portion of Piscataquis Counties. The remaining customers affected are expected to have power restored by late morning or early afternoon. About 100 Maine Public Service customers are without power and are expected to have power restored by 6:00 a.m.

There may be trees or power lines that are down in some areas and customers should not attempt to remove power lines or tree limbs that are near or touching them.
