2nd Annual Bass Harbor Mackerel Derby

Ready to show everyone you've got the "Big Old Fish"? The Tremont Recreation Board invites you to take part in the 2nd Annual Bass Harbor Mackerel Derby, this Sunday, August 26th.

This is a free event, and takes place rain or shine from 10AM to 2PM. Weigh in of the mackerel will take place at the Bernard Town Dock from Noon to 1PM. All fish must be caught in Bass Harbor between 10AM to 1PM.

Prizes will be awarded for the biggest and littlest with 2 categories... 12 and Over and then 11 and Under.

There will be lots of prizes, games and food available
