A little over 2800  Emera Maine customers are without power in the Deer Isle-Stonigton area on Monday night, January 5th as of 6 PM. Emera Maine has dispatched crews to attempt to bring everyone's power back as soon as possible, with the hope of bringing everyone electricity by 9 PM tonight.

As it is bitterly cold, with wind chills approaching -30 degrees, customers are reminded to stay clear of downed power lines and trees in contact with power lines. If you are using a generator, please be sure that it is grounded, and properly ventilated.
