25th Anniversary! Today’s the Day!!

Today's our 25th Anniversary! I have had so much fun the past week counting down to it, and thanks for reading and all the nice comments!

It was beautiful weather 25 years ago, June 25, 1988. We were married early in the morning, and had our reception at Finnegans Restaurant. There's a great picture of my wife Bonnie, in the limo at the wedding with the window down waving and my mother trying to get her to keep the window up, so she wasn't seen!

We had a giant roll of paper for our guests to leave notes with crayons, we had it taped to the wall. We still have it, and will have to get it out tonight and look at what everyone wrote. We spent the night at the Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge and there were gran marnier soaked strawberries dipped in chocolate  and champagne waiting for us! The gran marnier soaked strawberries dipped in chocolate were delicious! I can still picture them!

The next day we jetted off to Bermuda, where I had spent my high school years, for our honeymoon!

After 25 years, it seems like my wife, Bonnie and I have always been together. In reality, we've been dating and married for over half our lives. We have 2 great sons, and 3 dogs. I have had cancer twice, Bonnie and I have lost relatives. Through good times and bad times, we have been together, and we both look forward to spending the rest of our lives together!

My wife is coming down with me when I go on sales calls to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and Ellsworth today. We'll have lunch, and dinner today! It'll be a great day! Happy Anniversary Bonnie, I love you!
