Acadia National Park's Park Loop Road will open on Saturday, April 15th. The Park doesn't begin to collect admission fees until May 1st. Admission fees are collected through October. There are two admission fee free days in 2017.

No admission fees will be collected on August 25th which is the National Park Service's Birthday and on September 30th which is National Public Land's Day.

Fees for Acadia National Park are $25 for private vehicles which admits a private vehicle and all occupants for 7 days. Motorcycle passes are $20 which admits a motorcycle and 1 or 2 passengers for 7 days. Per person pedestrian passes are $12 for 7 days. There is no admission fee for those 15 and under.  Seniors 62 and up are able to purchase a lifetime pass for $10.00, although this is scheduled to increase to $80 and an annual pass will be available for $20. US citizens and permanent residents with permanent disabilities and active duty military personnel with their dependents (with proper documentation) are admitted for no charge.
