1st or 5th Place... That's what's on the line when the MDI Trojans play host to the Ellsworth Eagles at Bernard Parady Gymnasium on Thursday, February 4th. Tip-off on Senior Night will be at 7 PM with the pregame starting at approximately 6:30 on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.

With Old Town's victory over Orono 66-57, the current standings are 1. Old Town, 2. Washington Academy, 3. Orono, 4. MDI, 5. Ellsworth. Washington Academy finishes the season at 16-2, Old Town at 15-3 and Orono at 14-4.

Going into the game on Thursday, MDI is 14-3 and Ellsworth is 13-4.  MDI is riding a 5 game winning streak, while Ellsworth has a 6 game winning streak including a 60-58 victory over previously unbeaten GSA on Tuesday, February 2nd.

The loser of the MDI-Ellsworth game will host a prelim game on Wednesday, February 10th and that game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.
