It's hard to believe that Saturday, February 9th will be our 17th Annual Ton of Pasta event, where our radio stations will be out in the communities, collecting pasta and more for local food pantries! We will have radio stations at the Ellsworth Hannaford, Brewer Hannaford, Old Town Hannaford and Union Street Hannaford in Bangor.

DJ Fred and I will be at the Ellsworth Hannaford on Saturday, February 9th from 10AM to 2 PM and all the food we collect will be split up between the Emmaus Shelter in Ellsworth, the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Ellsworth and the Bar Harbor Food Pantry!

Through the generosity of our listeners and the community, we collected over 1 ton of pasta in Ellsworth alone last year. Throughout the 16 previous years, we have collected over 50 ton of pasta, and when you realize that a box of pasta can feed a family of 4, that means that through your contributions, we have potentially provided food for as many as 400.000 meals! That's a whole lot of pasta!

The partial government shutdown has depleted food banks, and your help is needed more than ever to replenish them!

Dorian Daniels will be set up at Hannaford on Union Street in Bangor.  Look for the I-95 Ride parked right by the front door!  Everything that Dorian collects will be distributed out to many pantries and soup kitchens through Manna Ministries for the greater Bangor area.

Scott,& Cindy will be at  the Hannaford in Old Town to benefit Crossroads Food Pantry

Kid & Sarah will be at the Hannaford in Brewer collecting  pasta. Everything they collect will be distributed through Manna Ministries  to other local area food pantries and  those who need it.
