Police say sixteen people are facing charges following an underage drinking party in Hancock County on Saturday.

A tip that an after-prom party was being held at a home on Donnell Pond led to the charges, reports the Bangor Daily News.

Charges were filed against eleven Bar Harbor residents, while the other five party-goers were from other parts of Hancock County, said Lt. Chris Thornton of the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.

A 17-year-old boy from Lamoine, charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration, was the only attendee who wasn't charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

Three people were arrested on additional charges and taken to the Hancock County Jail.

Isaiah Keene, 18, and Jalique Keene, 19, both of Bar Harbor, were arrested and charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor. Isaiah Keene also was charged with refusing to submit to arrest and disorderly conduct.

Elijah Malloy, 18, of Bar Harbor, also was charged with refusing to submit to arrest and disorderly conduct.

Police will likely file additional charges, Thornton said.
